Purchased new Bingham & Garfied No. 73; .0-6-0ST.

Scrapped at McGill Autumn, 1951.

Service Notes

Ex-Bingham & Garfield Railway Co.No. 72; purchased new for $11,258.
Owned by B&G but not used; leased to Utah Copper Co. No. 72 (ICC Valuation dated 30 June 1916).
To NCCCo No. 73 on 03 Feb 1934. Rebuilt to 0-6-2ST in 1936-1937.
The relatively short wheelbase of the 71-88 class made them particularly suitable to negotiating the sharp curves in the Liberty pit as it got deeper.
