Copper Camp Kids

White Pine County native Walter B. Johnson, has written a lively biographical history of the life of the now-gone mining camps of Kimberly and Riepetown, Nevada.

His father was the assayer in Kimberly and the engineer/author son grew up there during the Great Depression and World War II.

He tells the mining camp story, as seen through the eyes of the kids born and reared in the camps.
