Purchased new NN No. 6; Pittsburgh works.

In McGill scrap line on
04 Dec 1950. Presumably scrapped in 1951.

Service Notes
  • Early main yard switcher; slope-back tender.
  • Alco was a couple years late delivering this engine, causing some concern at East Ely. Mr. Cannon convinced the New York office to order No. 40 from Baldwin. Alco was also charging ~$3000 for changes to their No. 40 proposal, whereas Baldwin Locomotive Works was making the much more reasonable charge of only $137.
  • Sold to NCCCo. No. 6, March 1916.
