Rebuilt to 0-6-2ST in later 1930's with extended frame, enlarged cab, trailing truck, and large coal bunker.

Of all the Utah engines, No. 86 is the only one that retained the cab door is its original position, suggesting that it may have been the first of the Utah Baldwins rebuilt into the 0-6-2ST configuration. The door was moved back towards the rear of the cab on the other engines.

In the above photo, No. 84 with a muck train can be seen on the Keystone Dump in the background. The tracks behind No. 86 are leads into the ore yard. A KCC flat car loaded with railroad ties sits in front of the yard track gang shed. The gentleman in the gangway of No. 86 is engineer Alabam Sedberry. He hired out in 1922 as a engineer; he was still working in 1958.
